These Altiris solutions tap into Intel vPro technology to provide customers with the ability to automate IT operations and reduce expensive desk-side visits.
Altiris support of Intel vPro technology for embedded management provides businesses with unprecedented control of a computing infrastructure. An integrated Altiris and Intel vPro technology solution provides agentless hardware and software diagnosis and remediation. Management capabilities built into Intel vPro technology hardware and enabled by Altiris software are available to IT administrators even if the PC is turned off, locked or the OS is not working properly.
The Altiris Manageability Toolkit for Intel vPro Technology is available as a standalone bundle or as a component of Altiris® Client Management Suite™ software. The toolkit includes two new, free solutions in addition to a new version of Altiris® Real-Time System Manager Solution™ software all of which have all been optimized for Intel vPro technology.
