    Dell Client Manager™ Licensing

    Dell Client Manager™ Standard is a free Dell hardware management solution for Dell Precision workstations, OptiPlex desktops, and Latitude notebooks. Dell Client Manager Standard is the result of an unprecedented integration of Dell's OpenManage Client Instrumentation into the Altiris management platform. From the Altiris remote console, you can collect BIOS settings and hardware values, monitor critical systems for hardware alerts or status changes, and upgrade the BIOS version or change the BIOS settings for multiple computers at once.

    Your fully-functional Dell Client Manager Standard evaluation copy is valid for 90 days. If the license is allowed to expire, certain features in Dell Client Manager Standard will cease functioning.

    Installing Your Limited License

    When you receive your license, open your Dell Client Manager Standard Quick Start page and then click the Add License link. Follow the instructions on the Add Licenses page to add your new license. If you encounter any difficulty getting the new license to apply, see Knowledgebase Article 31742  in the Altiris Knowledgebase.
