The IBM eServer xSeries division expands server management capabilities by offering Altiris® Deployment Solution™ to its customers. This award-winning product is part of an integrated solution that helps automate and standardize complex server builds and deployments for IBM hardware on both Linux and Windows platforms. With Deployment Solution customers can:

• Automate and reduce physical and virtual server deployment times from hours to literally minutes in many instances
• Remotely configure hardware components and install operating systems, application and patches
• Leverage Altiris integration into the IBM ServerGuide Toolkit to further optimize the deployment and provisioning of IBM eServers
• Launch Altiris from within the IBM Director console or as a stand-alone product.
