Barcode Solution provides wireless connections between handheld devices and Altiris Notification Server™ and leverages bar code technology for a simpler, more accurate way of gathering and verifying information in the field. 

Track Assets Accurately and Quickly

In addition to tracking discoverable assets such as computers, hubs, and routers, Barcode Solution easily tracks assets that are not automatically discovered. Personnel receiving stock can easily track incoming materials by applying bar codes for quick and accurate scanning and auditing. The solution is designed to save your organization time and money by increasing the input speed and accuracy of gathering information, which is then easily synchronized with your enterprise application.

Barcode Solution supports Code 39 and 128 bar code formats. The solution supports a variety of bar code devices, including Symbol Technologies PDT 2800, 8100, PDT 8800 and MC50 integrated handheld devices, and Socket and Flic scanner bar code devices.
