Monitor Pack for SQL Server proactively monitors Microsoft SQL Server and identifies issues before they become critical. SQL specific rules and metrics leverage performance counters and NT event logs to accurately report the current status of a SQL server. A dashboard provides a summary of monitored SQL servers by status. From there, you can drill down and view the current alerts, open the real-time performance viewer, or review any Altiris® Helpdesk Solution™ tickets that were generated as a result of alerts. Reports track historical performance and fault data in order to identify trends or to perform root-cause analysis on previous incidents.
